A Smooth Calais to Folkestone Crossing: Meet Dexter
Relocating or traveling across the English Channel with a pet can seem daunting, but it really doesn’t have to be. Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of transporting a wonderful dog named Dexter on the popular Calais to Folkestone route.
For many pet parents, the water crossing is the most stressful part of the journey. By choosing our private pet transport, Dexter and his owner completely skipped the anxiety of the ferry car decks. Instead, they enjoyed a fast, 35-minute crossing via the Eurotunnel (Le Shuttle).
Dexter stayed right in the comfort of our climate-controlled vehicle the entire time, with his owner close by. There was no separation, no dark cargo holds, and absolutely no stress. He had plenty of space to relax and simply watched the world go by before arriving safely in the UK.
Seeing Dexter so incredibly relaxed, and his owner completely at ease with the whole border process, is exactly why we love what we do.
